Coaching
Executive coaching – we work on a one to one basis with leaders and managers on specific personal and business development areas in order to improve their performance. We use 360° feedback and a wide range of psychometrics as part of the process to gain insight and assist in creating individual development plans which form the basis of the coaching programme. We then use this to focus our coaching and measure the individual’s success.
Team coaching – we work with a wide range of teams at all levels, including senior leadership teams, department teams and specific project teams to help them achieve their goal, in the shortest possible timescales, of becoming a high performance team. We identify with them the areas of high performance and the development areas they should focus on. We do this by a combination of coaching, facilitation, observation as well as using a wide range of psychometrics and other diagnostic tools.
Career coaching – this is an opportunity for the individual to assess where they are, identify where they wish to get to and the options for going forward to achieve these goals. We use psychometrics, career interest inventories and other diagnostic tools to help us gain insight. Typically these clients are at a career crossroads and are having to think about and make choices about their next steps.
Business relationship coaching – we coach clients in pairs in how they can make their work relationship stronger and more effective. Typically pairs would include Chairman and Chief Executive, boss and subordinate and business partners.
Coaching skills – as expert coaches ourselves we train managers in the key coaching skills and techniques in order that coaching becomes an inherent part of their management style and company culture.
Telephone Coaching – we recognise that busy executives may not always have the time to travel to meet their coach. Following an initial face to face session GAP People coaches are happy to provide distance coaching via the telephone or video link.
